History

Mount Blue opened in the summer of 1997. Mount Blue is a colorful, comfortable gem of a restaurant in the quaint New England town of Norwell, on the South Shore of Boston, about 35 minutes from downtown. Mount Blue offers a diverse Cafe menu drawn both from American and International traditions.

Jayne's vision is to create a suburban oasis which is stylish, fun and casual, and which offers an exceptional and unique blend of food and beverage choices.

Jayne Bowe
Jayne Bowe is a restaurateur with a sense of humor and a tireless commitment to detail. These traits put her first restaurant, Rocco's, a step ahead of the Boston market when it came to style and character. Mount Blue continues the feeling of playful whimsy. The restaurant itself is a visual delight. The menu is diverse in providing both tenderly executed staples and accomplished forefront cuisine. Jayne has been in the restaurant business for over 25 years.

Chef - Melinda Lynch
One of our all time favorite chefs, Melinda Lynch has returned to Mount Blue after working in some of the finest kitchens on the south shore (Tosca, Rustic Kitchen) and Nantucket (21 Federal).
